MSU Library building now reopen
Montana State University’s Library building will reopen to the public Monday, June 29. Hours this summer will be 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Regular academic hours are scheduled to begin Monday, Aug. 17, the first day of classes of the fall semester.
MSU is asking visitors, including library users, to wear cloth face masks or face coverings on campus.
The library has modified a number of its practices to reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19. For example, high-use areas will be sanitized multiple times per day, and furniture will be arranged to promote social distancing. In addition, Special Collections will be open to the public under revised reading room hours (noon to 4 p.m.) and days (Tuesday to Friday) or by appointment. Also, in preparation for fall, the library has set occupancy limits for the building's public spaces, in accordance with state and local health directives.
More information, including details on the library’s modified practices, is online at lib.montana.edu/service-updates/.
