As part of the Montana Institute on Ecosystems' Rough Cut Seminar Series, Dr. Wyatt Cross will give a talk titled "Evaluating Irrigation Efficiency: Towards a Sustainable Water Future for Montana" at noon on Wednesday, November 4. Please note that this seminar will be virtual, with call-in information below.
Dr. Wyatt Cross is the director of the Montana University System Water Center (MWC), a USGS-funded Water Resource Research Institute (http://www.montanawatercenter.org/). The MWC facilitates and conducts activities that advance understanding and stewardship of water resources across Montana. The MWC also serves as the primary nexus between the Montana University System and diverse water resource stakeholders, including state and federal agencies, non-government organizations, citizens, and the private sector. Dr. Cross is an Associate Professor in the Department of Ecology with a research program focused on river ecosystems (https://www.montana.edu/wcross/).
