Chrome River Training for MSU Employee Travelers and P-card Users
- Wednesday, September 16, 2020 to Tuesday, September 29, 2020
Chrome River is MSU's travel and expense management software. All MSU employees who travel or use a P-card need to be familiar with the Chrome River application. Training resources are available on MSU’s Chrome River help site, including recorded video training, FAQs, Quick Help Guides, and general information – login with your NetID and password. If you have questions about Chrome River, write to firstname.lastname@example.org.
There are 3 separate offerings in September, each session lasting approximately 1 hour:
CR101 – The intro class—Navigating the application; creating expense and pre-approval reports; uploading receipts; routing and approval basics; tips & tricks to get you floating down the River!
CR201 – Take CR to the next level by learning some best practices to deal with the twists, turns and idiosyncrasies of Chrome River—Processing personal/non-reimbursable expenses; advanced receipt techniques; Per Diem and Mileage help; editing returned reports; and open Q&A.
CR501 – The Chrome River Master’s level session to further increase your efficiency in the application. Memorize expenses like frequent trips/mileage reimbursements; explore Inquiries and Reports; process personal/non-reimbursable expenses more efficiently when you also have a “Pay Me;” and open Q&A—for those who feel ready for the Class IV rapids of the River.
