Description:

Join us as we celebrate American Indian Heritage Day, Friday September 25th. We are pleased to host Dr. Henrietta Mann via a zoom chat virtual lecture titled 'An elder's perspective on Indian education in Montana'. We hope that we can continue to honor and observe the hard work of our students, staff, and faculty by following social distancing and observing safety precautions so that we can keep meeting in person, on campus. Also in the spirit of masking up, we're in this together, living in the time of a pandemic, we are excited to present in partnership with Designs by Della, Plains Soul, an indigenous themed mask fashion show. This will happen on Centennial Mall. American Indian Heritage Day is a collaboration of the Council of American Indian Programs here at MSU, with the generous support of our NAS department. This event is free and open to the public. Please join us if you are able to!
