Dr. Neha John-Henderson earned a bachelor's in sociology and a PhD in psychology at the University of California, Berkeley. She continued to study social disparities in health as a postdoctoral fellow in cardiovascular behavioral medicine at the University of Pittsburgh. She joined the psychology department at Montana State University in 2016, where she has developed a research program focused on the ways in which differences in childhood environments shape the way we cope with stress, our social interactions and health behaviors, and how these differences may in turn get under the skin to affect health across the lifespan. She is especially interested in factors that may promote resilience in spite of having faced adversity in life.
This event is a virtual talk through webex.
