Picture a Scientist: Virtual Discussion on bias in STEM and the severe consequences of exclusion

In conjunction with the film Picture a Scientist (available for screening October 22-28) a virtual panel event at 6:00 p.m. MDT on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 will feature keynote speaker, Dr. Corrie Moreau, Evolutionary Biologist, Entomologist and Cornell professor who will present a short talk, Diversity in Science: An Everyone Issue. Dr. Moreau will be joined by Robin Belton, Ph.D. Candidate in Mathematics and WISE Co-president; Dr. Connie Chang, Assistant Professor, Chemical and Biological Engineering; Dr. Jennifer Lachowiec, Assistant Professor, Plant Sciences and Plant Pathology; and Dr. Agnieszka Rynda-Apple, Assistant Professor, Microbiology and Immunology. The panel will be moderated by EJ Porth, Associate Director, Gallatin Valley Land Trust.
