AMC 8: American Mathematics Contest for Middle Schoolers

The Department of Education's Science Math Resource Center will host an online mathematics competition for middle schoolers on Thursday, Nov. 12 at 4:30pm. The deadline to register is Nov. 7.
This competition is free, and prizes will be awarded.
The AMC 8 is a 25-question, 40-minute mathematics exam designed to promote the development and enhancement of problem-solving skills. Students through 8th grade are eligible to compete. Registration is free and open until all slots have been filled.An optional preparation workshop will be hosted on Oct. 31 at 9:30am.The AMC 8 is part of the American Mathematics Competition series of the Mathematical Association of America.
