Interested in Science Olympiad? Explore ways to engage in 2021 virtual tournament
The Montana Science Olympiad is building a team of faculty, staff and students who may be interested in supporting the SO virtual tournament to be held in Spring 2021. The virtual nature of the tournament will allow volunteer commitments to be more flexible (for instance, someone writing a test for an event could work on questions anytime between now and March). There are also opportunities for faculty to build Science Olympiad into their spring courses, and for students to earn service hours.
Science Olympiad is one of Montana's largest academic STEM events, and includes contests in the life, personal and social sciences; Earth and space science; physical sciences and chemistry; technology and engineering design; and inquiry and the nature of science.
The virtual nature of this year's tournament will allow for more flexibility in contest offerings, so volunteers may be able to run an event that supports their specific research area or course.
