Weekly HEART Meeting
- Monday, February 1, 2021 from 5:00pm to 6:00pm
Founded in 2016, The HEART Initiative is a student organization at Montana State University in Bozeman. As a group of students, community members, professors, and professionals, we are committed to learning about human trafficking and inspiring action. From documentary screenings and panel events to collaborations with local organizations, we are actively involved on campus and in our community. We worked with local organizations and interested individuals to form the Gallatin County Human Trafficking Task Force. This Task Force aims to prevent trafficking through education and awareness, protect people who are vulnerable to being trafficked in addition to survivors of trafficking, and prosecute those who perpetrate the crime. As Co-Chair of the Task Force’s Prevention Committee, The HEART Initiative works collaboratively to increase awareness and education regarding trafficking in Gallatin County and beyond.
