Paid Dietary Research Study Opportunity in the Department of Health and Human Development
The Nutrition Research Laboratory at MSU is recruiting participants for an ongoing paid dietary study, "Impact of Diet and Gut Microbiome on Metabolism and Inflammation." We are investigating how gut microorganisms and foods influence metabolism and inflammation.
This study involves 4 visits to our lab in Herrick Hall with the 3rd and 4th visit separated by a 12-week long intervention where you are asked to eat a provided mid-day meal each day. Blood collection occurs once at visit 2 and six times each at visit 3 and visit 4. Benefits include receiving information about your body composition, blood pressure, blood glucose, and blood lipids. Compensation for your participation is up to $250.
