The title of this webinar is Using Montana estate/legacy planning tools to avoid probate while saving more. During this webinar you will learn how beneficiary designations allow you to pass property to your heirs without probate while saving them money. You can place Payable on Death (POD) designations on your checking/savings accounts and on your CDs at banks and credit unions. You can place Transfer on Death (TOD) registrations on your stocks, bonds, and mutual funds. You can file a Transfer on Death Deed on your real property to avoid probate. Learn why these designations over-ride provisions in your written will.
This webinar series is sponsored by MSU Alumni Association and MSU Extension.
