The Office of the Registrar is currently looking for volunteers to help with Spring Commencement
MSU will host an in-person Commencement this spring on Saturday, May 1, in Bobcat Stadium. The Office of the Registrar is currently looking for volunteers to help in two critical areas for these ceremonies: ushers and ticket takers and stand-by crew for snow removal. There are about 70 total volunteer opportunities available. If you would like to volunteer, please register here.
All of these volunteer shifts will take place outside. For people who sign up for the usher and ticket taker position, you will be scanning tickets and helping our graduates and guests get to their seats for the ceremony. The snow removal crew will be on-call to help us early in the morning, if needed, to clear snow out of the seats of Bobcat Stadium. Both of these opportunities will include a free lunch!
Commencement is a very special time for all of students and their families and friends. MSU doing its part to keep everyone safe and we will be taking COVID precautions very seriously. All staff, graduates and guests will be required to wear masks and maintain social distancing throughout the ceremony.
