Lanterns of Connection for Staff & Faculty
- Wednesday, September 29, 2021 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm
- Strand Union Building, Alumni Lounge - view map
While the Covid-19 pandemic has affected everyone in the world, we acknowledge the unique difficulties that MSU staff and faculty have been confronted with during this time. Aside from various implications the pandemic has had on personal lives, the fact remains that MSU staff and faculty have been tasked with additional work responsibilities, strained resources, and the emotional toll of experiencing or witnessing threats to physical, mental, and social wellbeing. Join the Compassion Project to reflect and share your experience in a compassionate space.
Make a lantern with the Compassion Project to honor yourself, a loved one, or your experience. Your creation will join 250 other lanterns in a light-filled art display on MSU's campus. These two-hour workshops will explore art and mindfulness as tools for reflection and healing.
