Honors Presents: MSU Counseling and Psychological Services Panel-College Mental Health: Treatment and Prevention at MSU

The panel of psychologists from MSU University Health Partners Counseling and Psychological Services will discuss current trends in college mental health and treatment services on-campus. Additionally, they will discuss suicide prevention efforts on-campus and showcase new tools available to MSU students to enhance their well-being.
Dr. Betsy Asserson is a licensed psychologist who has worked at MSU Counseling Psychological and Services for twenty years. She has developed expertise in college mental health throughout her career and enjoys working with students. Dr. Brian Kassar is a licensed psychologist who has been with CPS at Montana State since 2000. He currently serves as the Suicide Prevention Coordinator for campus, after having served as Outreach Coordinator for 17 years. Dr. Laura Thum is a licensed psychologist who serves as the Assistant Director for Outreach and Prevention at CPS. She has specialized interests in prevention education as well as working with addiction.
