Honors Presents: Marcy Gaston MS, RD-Cooking Healthy on a Budget

This will be a hands-on cooking demo to show the ins and outs of eating and cooking healthy on a budget with limited equipment available. Learn how to best utilize a microwave and small appliances for quick and easy meals and snacks.
I am Assistant Teaching Professor and Program Leader for the Hospitality Management program. I earned a master's in Sustainable Food Systems from MSU in 2014. Over the years, I've worked as a chef in various capacities and have been teaching hands-on cooking classes at MSU since 2010. In addition to working as a chef, I am also a registered dietitian, having worked in both clinical and private practice. Currently, I am also seeking a Ph.D. in American Studies through MSU.
