Laura Larsson presents “Radioactivity & Decay: Exploring Public Health in Montana” as part of MSU's Provost's Distinguished Lecturer Series. In a blend of storytelling and science, Larsson will discuss health topics that matter to Montanans and have motivated her nursing career. Reception will follow.
Larsson, who holds a Ph.D. in nursing, is a nurse, clinical scholar, and nurse educator with significant experience conducting community-based participatory health projects in American Indian communities. Recently inducted into the American Academy of Nursing for her policy work expanding access to oral health care in rural and remote areas, Larsson is the director of MSU’s Caring for Our Own Program.
