When you use D2L:

- Personally identifiable student information including student name and/or GID associated
with other information is protected under FERPA. It is essential to use care when
storing or sharing student records in order to protect confidentiality. FERPA Online Tutorial
- Username/password credentials are sensitive and should never be shared or communicated in an insecure manner such as email. Assistance with managing your passwords can be found here: http://password.montana.edu/.
- It is essential to maintain the security of the computer you use for accessing D2L. See Safe Computing for more information.
