Welcome to Agricultural Economics & Economics!
Thank you for your interest in the
Department of Agricultural Economics and Economics
at Montana State University.
We understand that choosing an academic program is a big decision. In fact, our department strives to train students to examine information objectively and critically so they can make sound decisions about important issues.
With that in mind, we invite you to take a look at our undergraduate and graduate programs and see how they can serve as a springboard to your future.
Our department is housed under the College of Agriculture (Agricultural Business) and the College of Letters and Science (Economics). Additionally, our Financial Engineering major is an interdisciplinary effort between the DAEE and the College of Engineering.
Students in our undergraduate and graduate academic programs have gone on to make meaningful contributions in agriculture, business, public policy, law, government, advanced education, industry and research.
After you take a look at our programs, please let us know how we can assist you in making your decision. We're happy to meet with you either in person or remotely to answer your questions.
