Assignment: Develop a professional development presentation to give to your school staff (or a subset of the staff, such as the English teachers) around one of the course topics: access, Internet filtering, collection development, copyright, or privacy & confidentiality. Follow the detailed instructions within the Assignment. You will be assess using the provided rubric.

In the #module7 channel, share the following and respond to at least two of your classmates:

  • Reflect on process of developing professional development for your teachers. What did you need to consider? What challenges do you anticipate? How is conducting a PD session different from advocacy? How is it the same?

In the #professional development channel, share your professional development presentation and introduction. If you share a Google Drive or other access link, please make sure your permissions are set to “anyone with the link may view.”

Write a reflection on the module. Use the following questions as inspiration. What did you learn this week? What made you wonder? How do you feel about the module’s content and process?
