Montana State University Extension is collaborating with Montana 4-H Foundation and
MSU 4-H Center for Youth Development for another eight-part webinar weekly estate/legacy
planning series titled Fabulous Fridays February 4 - March 25.
Topics for the eight-part series include what to include in a letter of last instruction, what tasks the survivors need to accomplish after the death of a person, tools to avoid probate, should I gift while alive or leave a bequest after I pass away, financial and legal planning documents for those concerned about memory loss, using an IRA as a legacy planning tool, selecting an attorney to develop an estate plan or administer an estate (probate) and accessing a deceased person’s financial accounts.
The series will run from 10:00 to 11 a.m. The last 15 minutes of each session will be a Q&A session following a guest who will share information about the Montana 4-H program.
This webinar series will be presented by Marsha Goetting, MSU Extension Professor and Family Economics Specialist and Kim Woodring, MSU Extension Toole County Agent.
