Because of the CDC’s Coronavirus recommendation to practice social distancing, Marsha Goetting, MSU Extension Family Economics Specialist, was faced with cancellations of over 30 estate planning programs across the state in March and April. Participants who had planned to attend her programs were disappointed and so was she.

The cancelled programs gave Emily Standley, Fergus County Extension Agent, an idea.  Would Marsha be willing to teach a series of Webinars participants could watch and listen to on their computers?  Marsha offered a resounding “YES” and immediately began to organize a series of estate and legacy planning programs. Standley agreed to take the lead on the technology aspects.

Tuesday Tips:  A series of 30-minute Estate and Legacy Planning Webinars began on April 7, 2020 and ended on June17, 2020.

The webinars were broadcasted through Webex, a free, online platform.   To view past recordings and resources click the blue buttom below titled "Past Recording and Resources."
