WHAT: The 2024 PAT Core training focuses on training new pesticide educators on the core concepts of private applicator pesticide use while delivering tools to train private pesticide applicators within your organization. Training tools covered include presentations, story problems, demonstration kits, publications, videos, and other materials.

WHO: New MSU Extension agents with PAT responsibilities are highly encouraged to attend this training. Weed District representatives, MSU Extension Specialists, MDA staff or veteran MSU Extension Agents are also welcome to attend.

  • Date: May 22-23, 2024
  • Location: Comfort Inn, 1370 N 7th Ave, Bozeman, MT 59715
  • Registration: Register online by April 19. A minimum attendee count must be met by this date to host the event.
  • Fee: $100. Pay using:
    • PAT Funds (MSU Extension only),
    • Credit Cards - online in advance, or
    • Cash or check at the door.
  • Hotel Room Reservation: A room block is reserved at the Comfort Inn for the nights of May 21st and 22nd. Please contact the hotel to reserve your room at (406) 220-5099 before the cutoff date of May 1. Reference "MSU Extension Pesticide Education Program" to get on the group room block.

Using PAT Funds

If you are a MSU Extension agent you may use PAT Funds to pay for your registration fee and hotel room. When you register for the event please select 'PAT Funds' under registration fee and hotel payment. Please make your own hotel room reservations. MSU PEP will pay for your hotel room and will take care of transferring your payments after the event.
