Club Commotion:  Eager Eagles Fly High!

Eager Eagles host the "Soup Supper" at the United Church of Christ in Fairfield on Tuesday, April 22. They provided five tasty soups and a variety of rolls and bread. This is a free community service that is hosted by different organizations on the last Tuesday of each month throughout the year. Pictured: Cru and Quincee Davis, Laney Wied, and Knox Pearson. Not pictured is Ronnie Pearson, but she helped out too.

Eager Eagles Club members thank Montana Farmers Union for the receipt of one of their $100 sentence grants again this year. The Eager Eagles sentence was: " The Eager Eagles 4-H Club wants to give back to the community of Fairfield. We would like to split the $100.00 into two $50.00 donations. One donation of $50.00 will go towards paying for a live band at our 4-H Fair dance in June. The remaining $50.00 will be donated to the New Life Church in Fairfield as a gift for generously allowing our club to use their facility for our monthly club meetings."

It’s Fair Time! If you have entered your Project Journal Pages in the Fair, make a nice copy (we are happy to help print a copy at the Extension office) to leave on the project display tables in the Pavilion. Hang on to your originals!!

Remember, if you are selling a market animal, you must bring your nearly complete project journal pages (on paper) to the Fair as the basis of your interview.Make them complete, neat and tidy and you could even win a premium!

Record Books are due to your club leaders in August, after review at the club level, each club can put forward their best books for quality judging at the county level. More information in the July newsletter.

A complete Record Book must be submitted (electronically via Zsuite or on paper) each year in order for 4-H members to exhibit, show or sell at next year's Fair.
