Teams will sign up for tournaments separately from the FIRST registration and participate in one Qualifying Tournament choosing from Billings, Helena, or Missoula on Jan 20, 2024. Top teams then advance to the Championship Tournament hosted at the MSU campus Feb 3, 2024.

Please make sure you’ve done all of the following steps to register for our tournament:

  • Log into the FIRST Portal http://www.firstinspires.org/
  • Verify that your team(s) are registered with FIRST- MT region.
  • Sign up registered teams for our event, under FLL Team Events-- Region Montana-- Event Montana State Championship Tournament. 
  • Once registered your portal will show pending until we verify that you are a Montana team. Once this happens your status will change from "pending" to "registered" and you will receive an email confirming your registration. 
  • Complete the FLL Qualifying Tournament Registration by Jan. 10, 2024
  • Once registered, you will receive an email with payment information.
