About
Kathy Rich joined MMEC in November of 2019. She serves as the Business Manager, providing fiscal and administrative oversight for MMEC’s daily operations. Kathy has more than seven years of experience across the MSU campus. A skilled multi-tasker, she worked concurrently as an Accounting Analyst for the Energy Research Institute and the Center for Biofilm Engineering, and as an Executive Assistant for the Western Transportation Institute.
Before she came to MSU, Kathy had a 12-year career in the hospitality industry with Hilton and Marriott Hotels. She served in key roles in both sales and operations, including management of both the restaurant and housekeeping departments at the Courtyard by Marriott in Beaverton, Oregon. She holds a B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in hotel and restaurant management from the University of Denver.
