About

Doug was born and raised in northeastern Pennsylvania, where he started his career with Allied Signal Aerospace upon completion of his Associates degree from Penn State University in Mechanical Engineering Technology as a Process and Manufacturing Engineer and later a Lead TQM Trainer.

After obtaining his Bachelor’s in Engineering Technology from The State University of NY, he left Allied Signal and joined Whirlpool Corporation in Evansville, Indiana as a Sr. Project Engineer.

Doug transitioned to engineering management with Thetford/Norcold, where he managed manufacturing, current product, and design engineering. He added his MBA from Ohio State University in 2002. In 2005, Doug became Director of engineering with Norwood Medical Devices in Dayton, Ohio.

He then transitioned to operations management with CSafe Global (formerly AcuTemp Thermal Systems), where he served as Director of Operations and VP of Business Development.

Doug then moved to Lewiston, Idaho where he was General Manger for Howell Munitions and Technology, which grew from 50 to over 400 employees during his tenure there.

Upon leaving Howell, Doug joined Pancon Corporation, a manufacturer of automotive safety systems as well as electrical connection systems, as VP of Operations North America.

He joined Coleman Oil Company, an oil and gas marketer in Lewiston, Idaho, in 2017 as COO.

Doug has a passion for manufacturing and small businesses, with experience in rapid-growth and turn-around environments. He brings financial and business systems implementation experience including ERP, ISO 9001 and 13485, and AS 9100. In addition, he has a solid LEAN background and implementation experience in a variety of manufacturing environments.
