Kaitlyn Dittmer

University Student Housing- Community Director

I would love to be a part of All Staff Council so I can help bring campus resources and organizations together in planning special and fun events in recognition of each other. I am really interested in making sure everyone feels recognized for the important work they are doing on campus. Recognition is important because it motivates individuals but helps create a culture of appreciation, which can lead to increased engagement and productivity. If chosen to be apart of All Staff Council, I will ensure that individuals and organizations are getting the regonition they deserve! Thank you!

As an engaged member of our campus community, I'm deeply committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive atmosphere for all staff members. Serving on the All Staff Council would allow me to actively champion the diverse needs and concerns of our workforce. I'm particularly passionate about tackling critical issues such as investing in campus sustainability, enhancing professional development opportunities, implementing workplace wellness initiatives, and fostering a culture of first-generation achievement. With my background as a Montana State University B.S. and M.S. alumnus, along with my experience in Academic Advising, I bring valuable institutional knowledge to the table. Let's work together to cultivate a stronger, more vibrant community where every individual can thrive.

Accessibility Specialist-Disability Services

As an Accessibility Specialist, I spend everyday promoting access here at MSU. On All Staff Council, I am excited to continue that work by not only furthering awareness regarding access, but to help create a sense of inclusion and belonging to all MSU staff as well. Our departments can feel very siloed, and I believe opportunities to come together can help foster a greater sense of community amongst each other. There are so many amazing resources here on campus for our staff, and I hope to assist in publicizing those resources, such as tuition waivers and staff groups/organizations. I am excited to give back to this amazing community by serving on All Staff Council.

Office of Sustainability - Program Manager
Hi there! My name is Paul Edlund; I am the Program Manager in the Office of Sustainability. Sustainability is a wide word that can mean many things, so my work uses reporting tools to attach metrics and manage progress towards reducing environmental impact at MSU. When students knock on our door with a passion project, I provide resources and support so they can be a part of positive change at their school.   I’ve been a part of the MSU community since 2019 and am grateful for the support I’ve received from staff here. On campus and at All Staff Council, I’m looking forward to working with partners to assess and support the needs of staff.

Gallatin College - Director of Business Opterations & Finance
I am interested in being a part of All Staff Council to meet and engage with staff members, especially, those I don't cross paths with in a typical day on Campus. One of my focus areas would be to foster growth in the culture of collaboration between positions with similar jobs across all units of MSU. For example, academic advisors across campus meet monthly, I would like to see something similar for other positions. In addition, this role would allow me to better understand the needs of staff on campus and to influence change in ways that positively impact our work at MSU.

Brandon Vanlandingham

University Student Housing- community Director
I believe in creating holistic systems of change through collaborative, cross functional efforts that enhance the well being an organization’s constituents. MSUASC’s mission is in alignment with my purpose, so I believe that I would be able to contribute towards that mission in a meaningful and impactful way while continuing to grow in my own role as a new professional. As I’m still fairly new to MSU and Bozeman, there are still heaps of activities/issues for me to gain exposure to, but I am passionate about professional and personal development. I would be grateful for the opportunity to represent and advocate for my peers!
