Iam currentlyan Assistant Professorinthe Department ofElectrical and Computer Engineeringat Montana State University (MSU), Bozeman,MT, U.S, and affiliated with Energy Research Institute. Ireceived my Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering atSouthern Methodist University(SMU),Dallas, TX, U.S.Before joining MSU, I was a postdoctoral research associate in the DOE’s Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL), the Interdisciplinary Science Department, Upton, NY, U.S. I received the National Scholarship for Highest Academic Distinction in China, Frederick E. Terman Award for Graduate Students at SMU, and the 2023 IEEE Power and Energy Scoiety Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Award. I have authored/co-authored 20 publications in flagship journals and conferences of electrical engineering, e.g., IEEE Transactions on Smart Grid, IEEE Transactions on Power Systems, and IEEE Transactions on Power Delivery, etc., including one Global ESI top 1% highly cited paper. I am a member of IEEE, the IEEE Task Force on Performance Evaluation of Distribution System State Estimation, IEEE Young Professional, IEEE Power & Energy Society Women in Power Committee, and the IEEE PES Power System Operation, Planning and Economics Committee and serve as a guest editor for the journal Applied Sciences.

My researchis rootedinpower system situational awarenessvia optimization, machine learning, and artificial intelligence (AI) to develop grid-based interdisciplinaryresearch in climate science, data science, and socio-economics.
