- Pitch a problem or choose from the provided list.
- Empathize, define, and ideate. Brainstorm a solution with your team that makes the most sense for your end-user.

MSU's LaunchPad will be hosting an Idea Challenge competition on Tuesday, October 29 starting at 6 pm in Jabs Hall 111. This competition is open to all MSU students (undergraduate and graduate) and will feature $4,000 in prize money. All Ideas are welcome, including but not limited to new products, services, non-profit ventures, and social impact focus.
To apply, please fill out the short application and submit a link to a 1 to 3 minute video that summarizes your idea with a focus on the problem and the solution. This video does not need to be edited or professionally created, and can simply be a smartphone video of you explaining your idea. If you have questions or need help on the video requirement, please come see us in the LaunchPad.
We also recommend you schedule a meeting with the Launchpad to review your idea and application. http://www.montana.edu/launchpad/schedule.html
**We will review all submissions and select eight finalists based on your application and video.**
All finalists will be paired with a coach, and we will require a presentation coaching session prior to the public event.
The finalists will present their ideas in a 3 to 5 minute pitch on October 29th. This event is open to the public for viewing and we are excited to feature Jake Jabs and several Montana business leaders and investors as our judges!
