If you are a Montana manufacturer and have the ability to assist with items of critical need, or if you are looking for resources for your company to sustain operations, please see information sections below.  Thanks to additional funding in the CARES Act for the Hollings Manufacturing Extension Partnership to assist manufacturers to prevent, prepare for, and respond to coronavirus, MMEC will provide assistance to your company at no charge for services to assist in making critical items and/or to help keep your company afloat during this difficult time.  Please contact us for more information.

  • Bozeman Health:
    Bozeman Health Foundation is managing all offers and can be reached at 406-414-1085 or email foundation@bozemanhealth.org.  There is also a Facebook Group, Medical Masks for Bozeman. For 3D printed masks, the hospital wants to see a prototype first to have their quality assurance team inspect them.   Anyone interested in doing this needs to drop off the prototype to their collections site which is at the loading dock at  the hospital.  Tim is the point of contact.
  • Western Mental Health, Bozeman
    They will be doing intake of individuals with mental health issues to help alleviate the burden on Bozeman Deaconness related.  Please contact Britney Welch: bwelch@wmmhc.org, c: 406-640-0539.  Items needed:
    1. Sanitizer, masks, sterilizing wipes
    2. Enclosed event tent, to triage patients safely in a large outdoor space. Covered and with areas where different stations could be set up
    3. Laptops with cameras to maximize the ability of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive services via tele to connect to PCP, urgent care, other healthcare professionals
    4. Two TV stands to disseminate up to date information to individuals waiting on campus to check in for comprehensive services. Maximizes ability to provide mass education.

  • To sell medical supplies or equipment to the federal government, please submit a price quote under the COVID-19 PPE and Medical Supplies Request for Quotation. Full details can be found in the solicitation (Notice ID 70FA2020R00000011)
    • This solicitation requires registration with the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be considered for award, pursuant to applicable regulations and guidelines.  Registration information can be found at www.sam.gov.  Registration must be “ACTIVE” at the time of award.
  • If you have medical supplies or equipment to donate, please provide us details on what you are offering.

Outlier Automation is helping out the COVID-19 effort by producing and distributing hand sanitizer.  We're supporting Sandymount Technologies of Woburn, MA, who is usually working in beer processing.  I am reaching out to look for equipment and/or company contacts to ramp up production ASAP.  We are looking to fill 4oz spouted, tamper evident pouches and bag-in-box style (like a wine bag) - see attachment.  Specifically, do you know or produce the following?

  • Filling equipment capable of handling 80%ABV alcohols (hazardous area / intrinsically safe required) with ability to supply in < 2wk
  • Ethanol, Glycerol, H2O2 supply with < 1wk lead time
  • Packages with ethanol compatibility
  • Co-packers with alcohol handling capabilities
