CNC Fusion Operator (waterjet/saw)

Fusion Operator is required to load the Fusion with material with the overhead crane and compare the Work Order with the Programming that has been done for the Fusion. After cutting is complete the Operator will number the parts, unload the Fusion and load a cart with the parts for the next operation which is another CNC only it is a router. The operator will assist Material Manager to make sure material is available for the next Work Order to start the process over. All material is either natural stone or quartz.

Shed Hauler

Employer is seeking to hire a full-time "Shed Hauler"

 

* Shed hauler will use motorized equipment to load, deliver, unload, position, and level portable buildings from Missoula to as far west as the Spokane, WA area and as far east as the Bozeman, MT area.

* Portable buildings include sheds, garages, and cabins that range in size from 8'x12' to 16'x40'.

* Shed hauler must have a current Class A CDL with a relatively clean driving record such that they are insurable.

* Shed hauler must be able to lift, pull, carry and handle up to 100 pounds.

* Experience delivering larger buildings preferred but employer is willing to train the right person.

Lead Builder

North Western General Contractors (NWGC) is looking for independent contractors licensed with the state of Montana who can independently take the lead in building portable buildings (sheds, garages, and cabins) from start to finish ranging in size from 8'x12' to 16'x40'.  The building process includes constructing a treated-lumber floor, laying out and constructing walls with windows and doors, installing pre-constructed trusses, constructing lofts, installing roof decking, constructing porches, installing doors, garage doors, and barn doors, and other such tasks associated with building a portable building.

 

* Building Lead is expected to construct a minimum of $25,000 in buildings (retail price) each week.  Ambitious and motivated Building Leads can build $100,000 or more in buildings (retail price) each week.

* Building Lead is compensated at 5% of each building's retail price with retail prices ranging from approximately $3,000 to $20,000.

* Building Lead is responsible for hiring, directing, and paying his/her own helper(s).

* Building Lead is responsible for producing portable buildings that measure up to NWGC's building standards.  Each building built by the Building Lead is inspected by an NWGC inspector.  Building Lead is responsible for correcting or fixing any items that fall short of NWGC's standards.  Most issues and problems can be corrected at the plant.  On occasion, a problem is not discovered until after the portable building has been delivered to a customer's location.  In such cases, the Building Lead is responsible for traveling to the customer location and fixing, correcting, or repairing the problem.

* Building Lead must be able to lift, pull, carry and handle up to 150 pounds.

* Building Lead must be able to quickly read a measuring tape.

* Building Lead must be okay with working at heights of up to 16'

* Building Lead must provide own tools (impact drill, hammer, tape measure, pry bar, carpenter's pencils, chalk line, air-hoses, ladders, sledge-hammer, level, etc.).

* Building Lead must understand how to use skill-saws, chop-saws, table-saws, routers, and nail-guns.

* Construction is performed inside a large building.

* Painter is compensated at 1.5% of each building's retail price with retail prices ranging from approximately $3,000 to $20,000.  Although it is not quite there yet, NWGC's goal is for the painter to have at least $100,000 (retail price) worth of buildings to paint per week which would be around 8 to 20 buildings depending upon what customers order.

* Painter is expected to paint portable buildings constructed by building crews in a timely manner.

* Painter is responsible for hiring, directing, and paying his/her own helper(s) should he/she want help.

* Painter is responsible for painting portable buildings in a manner that measure up to NWGC's building standards.  The painting of each building is inspected by an NWGC inspector.  Painter is responsible for correcting or fixing any items that fall short of NWGC's standards.

* Painter must be able to lift, pull, carry and handle up to 75 pounds.

* Painter must be okay with working at heights of up to 16'

* Painting is performed inside a large building.

* Paint and urethane are provided.

* Painter is responsible for supplying his/her own sprayer/hose/nozzle, ladder, drop-cloths, brushes, masking tape, cleaners, and other such supplies.

* Must be able to drive a forklift to move buildings in and out of paint bay.

* Portable building plant is based in Bonner, MT (a suburb of Missoula, MT)

* For an ambitious individual who is also an experienced roofer, this position can be combined with NWGC's roofing position which pays 1% of each building's retail price.  In other words, the right individual could be both a painter and a roofer and be compensated 2.5% of each building's retail price.

 

Roofer

North Western General Contractors (NWGC) is looking for an independent contractor licensed with the state of Montana who can independently take the lead in roofing newly-constructed portable buildings (sheds, garages, and cabins) ranging in size from 8'x12' to 16'x40'.  Roofer will mostly be installing metal roofs but will on occasion install shingled roofs.  The roofing process includes installing roofing underlayment, installing metal roofing and trim, or installing shingle roofing.

 

* Roofer is compensated at 1% of each building's retail price with retail prices ranging from approximately $3,000 to $20,000.  Although it is not quite there yet, NWGC's goal is for the roofer to have at least $100,000 (retail price) worth of buildings to roof per week which would be around 8 to 20 buildings depending upon what customers order.

* Roofer is expected to roof portable buildings constructed by building crews in a timely manner.

* Roofer is responsible for hiring, directing, and paying his/her own helper(s) should he/she want help.
