Overview

The National Student Exchange (NSE) is a consortium of nearly 200 universities in the United States, its territories, and Canada offering students the opportunity to study at another university for up to one year.

By bringing together students from different areas of the country, NSE encourages participants to broaden theiracademicsocial, and cultural awareness. Through a simplified admissions process, students are able to enroll at a host institution with the same financial benefits enjoyed by in-state residents. Credits and grades are recorded at MSU-Bozeman as a part of the student's permanent transcript.

"NSE has only had a positive impact on my personal growth. It has honestly changed my perspective on so many things just by getting to meet new people and seeing a different culture. I would recommend NSE to anyone and tell them to push through the nerves and just do it!"

- Kameron Armstrong, previous NSE exchange student from NMSU
