I received an Early Alert referring me to your office.

What does that mean?

One of your professors has referred you to the Early Alert Program at The Allen Yarnell Center for Student Success because they believe you may benefit from additional resources and support. Our team of Success Advisors is here to help you get the support you need.

Why was I referred?

The notification you received via navMSU specified the reason for the Alert and a recommended course of action. Often comments are provided to give additional context.

Professors and instructors may choose from four categories of concern:

  1. Academic Performance Challenges.
  2. Insufficient Class Attendance.
  3. Recommend Student Session Tutoring.
  4. Needs to Drop Course.
