The College of Nursing at Montana State University is a multi-site college, delivering the nursing curriculum in five locations across Montana. The college’s administrative offices are located in Bozeman.

Undergraduate program
The traditional Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree program is offered on
all of the five campus sites: Billings, Bozeman, Great Falls, Kalispell, and Missoula.
The Accelerated BSN option is offered in Bozeman, Great Falls, Kalispell, and Missoula.
Students interested in the traditional BSN program may complete the required prerequisite
courses as pre-nursing students at any accredited college or university in Montana
or another state. They must be prepared to apply for admission to the nursing major
one year before they are ready to begin taking nursing courses. Once they have accepted
a placement for completing the nursing major, they are enrolled in the sophomore nursing
courses. The five consecutive semesters of nursing coursework will be completed in
one of MSU-Bozeman's five campus locations.
Graduate program
Graduate-level coursework is offered through distance delivery modalities for both the Master’s of Nursing (MN) and Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degrees. Graduate courses are taught using a Web-based delivery platform (BrightSpace D2L) and enhanced using interactive videoconferencing and teleconferencing. Graduate students are required to attend coursework on the Bozeman campus once a year at the beginning of the fall semester and attend their Comprehensive Exam and Project Defense on one of the college’s five sites.
