The Robert Raskind Scholarship

 

PURPOSE OF SCHOLARSHIP:

The Scholarship is intended to foster advanced practice nursing education for American Indians who are committed to
improving the health of Indians and to serve as role models and advocates for the American Indian Community.

NUMBER OF AWARDS: One

VALUE: TBD

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

American Indian student enrolled in the graduate nursing program. Preference for candidates with demonstrated
commitment to & involvement in the American Indian community within Montana. Graduates of St. Labre School will be
given preference over equally qualified applicants. The scholarship is intended to cover a recipient's full period of graduate
study leading to a Masters Degree in Nursing. Provided the recipient maintains satisfactory progress, the award is
renewable for full time study toward completion of the degree.
