Billings Montana

"Billings is only a stone's throw from the Abasaroka-Beartooth Wilderness area, one of the largest in the country and home to Granite Peak, Montana's tallest at 12,807 feet. Anglers enjoy the wide, braided waters of the Bighorn River to the east and the boulder-strewn Stillwater River to the west. The hills to the northwest are a playground for climbers, trail runners and mountain bikers. Yellowstone National Park is less than three hours away. Better yet, it's substantially more affordable than already discovered Montana adventure hubs like Missoula and Bozeman"

Bobcat Nurse Profile

Maria Strutzel Billings

"I'm a nontraditional student who decided on nursing after 6-years in the Navy. My passion for nursing was already evident, and it was amplified through the coursework and support I had in every step of this program. The Billings campus is so fortunate to have both St. Vincents and Billings Clinic because it maximizes opportunities of learning. Thanks to this program I feel prepared to think critically and confidently present myself as a leader and as a part of a team. I was fortunate to find mentors in my professors along the way which helped me find my own voice and place in nursing. This program teaches future nurses everything from the very specifics of competent nursing care to the infinite impact this profession can have on the world around us.” - Maria Strutzel, 2020 Bobcat Nurse Graduate
