Current Research

My research is focused on quantifying characteristics of foraging areas and maternity roosts for tree-roosting bats in western Montana.  Specifically, I seek to understand how the use and availability of these habitat features are affected by large-scale forest disturbance, particularly mountain pine beetle outbreaks and salvage logging operations.
