Computer vulnerability management is a security practice designed to proactively prevent the exploitation of IT vulnerabilities that exist within computers in an organization. Proactively managing computer vulnerabilities will reduce or eliminate the potential for exploitation and involve considerably less time and effort than responding after exploitation has occurred.

Guest Tech Access

How can I get my guests access to use technology at MSU?

Sometimes guest at MSU will need access to Technology resources, even though they are not an MSU Faculty, Staff, Retiree, Emeritus or Affiliate etc.

Jamf is a software platform that manages Apple devices. Jamf is used to remotely manage and inventory MSU Apple devices. It also has the ability to report on installed software and hardware, allow remote assistance, deliver software remotely and install security patches.
