Goldwater Scholars
Montana State University is tied for 12th nationally for number of Goldwater Scholarship recipients.
As of 2020, 78 MSU students have received the Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship, the nation’s premier scholarship for undergraduates studying math, natural sciences and engineering. Other high-ranking schools include Harvard and Stanford, and MSU is ranked among the top 5 public universities.
