Holly Old Crow

Holly, from the Apsaalooke (Crow) tribe, returned to complete her Criminology degree. She received the Phyllis Berger Award for Leadership in March 2021 and is co-president of the MSU American Indian Council. She says her two young children inspired her to return.

 

Miranda Foulk

Miranda is a single parent graduating with a degree in Human Development and Family Science. MSU provided her with the education she wanted and the proximity to her family.

 

Kaya Patten

Kaya is from Portland Oregon, graduating with a degree in Sustainable Foods & Bio-Energy Systems. After taking a year-and-a-half off, she chose to return and get her degree in order to build the career she wanted.
