Structural Controls on the Norris Geothermal System
Mia’s project combines fieldwork, remote sensing, and seismic data to produce geologic maps and 3D models of the Norris quadrangle in southwestern Montana. These maps and models will allow us to study the relationships between stress, fault density, and an active geothermal system.
