Current Research

I am interested in understanding factors that limit density and demography of African wild dogs in an ecosystem that suffers from prey depletion.  In addition to providing baseline data on demography for a critical population, I will examine how these increasing human pressures act in combination with natural limitations from dominant competitors to impact distribution, movements, and hunting success of wild dogs on the landscape.
