Robustness to changing environments, genetic pertubations, or stochastic errors can be traced to the action of particular genes or networks of genes. We use and develop high-throughput phenotyping approaches to measure robustness across traits. Then, using quantitative genetics and functional genomics approches, we seek the identity of genes or genomic loci that contribute to robustness.
