Intending tograduatein Summer 2023 or Fall 2023? 

YourApplicationfor Baccalaureate Degree for Summer or Fall Graduation is due MARCH 1st!

M&IE students, follow these steps: 

 1: Build a new "one-semester" plan in DegreeWorks titled"Final Semester Primary Degree – Fall 2023" (or your Summer/graduating semester). Include the classes you plan to take in your final semester. Make sure the classes you entered in your plan are being offered during the semester you selected!

2: Complete this online form- Intention to Graduate Summer/Fall 2023to alert our department that your final semester plan is ready for review.Pleaseutilizeyour advisor to check your final semester plan. 

 

NOTE: please complete these steps by February 15th for timely review. 

 

now... WAIT FOR YOUR PLAN TO BE REVIEWED. 

 

3: Look for anemailindicatingthat your “Final semesterPrimary Degree"plan has been reviewed and approved. This email will also announce that you are ready to apply to graduate via aMyInfo linklocatedunder the “StudentServices Tab”.

 

Step 4: Register foryour planned classes. Meet with your advisor ifneeded anduseyour registration PIN inyourDegreeWorks notes after your plan has been approved.IF YOU REGISTER FOR CLASSES OTHER THAN YOUR PLANNED CLASSES, you will need to check in with your advisor toguarantee your graduation as expected. They will needto recheck your plan so that you do not get a discrepancy from the registrar and get deniedgraduation.

-If you have a minor or second major from a different department, please connect withthat department 

-Your Registration PIN for your final semester will be released once you have submitted your plan for department review, and your plan has been approved. The PIN will appear in the notes area of DegreeWorks, for your convenience.  

 -Meeting with an advisor is optional, but the best way to make sure you are on track to graduateIf you end up registering for Professional Electives orclassesdifferent than those in your plan, please check with anadvisorto ensuredegree requirements are met. You should also make certain you sign up for the EGEN 488 zero credit placeholder for theFEExam. You will be denied graduation if you do not register for this course.
