Langford is a place where lifelong friendships are formed and great memories are made. An all-male hall, Langford is built on a tradition of academic excellence as well as active involvement in the MSU community. The spacious rooms of Langford are a popular choice for many students. This is John’s third year here at Montana State and his second in Langford. John was previously the Resident Director of the Johnstone Center before coming to Langford last year and is stoked to be in Langford for another year! This will be John’s fifth year in Residence Life and 7th year overall in Higher Education. John has lived in a few different states but calls Oregon his home when not in Montana. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Nevada, Reno and will graduate with a Masters of Education in Adult and Higher Education this Spring here at MSU.
In his free time, John loves to enjoy the outdoor activities that are present here in Bozeman. You can find him regularly playing disc golf at Rose Park or hammocking at Lindley Park. John also challenges anyone to beat him 1 on 1 in basketball at the Fitness Center or to join his Intramural Flag Football Team. The most unique things about John is his love for Bigfoot and his passion for preserving Bigfoot Habitat Conservation. If anyone is interested in creating a Squatchin’ Club on campus, John would be more than willing to be the Advisor!
