"RHA has made me feel confident that I can enter the workforce competitively. Our RHA and Hall Council members go on to be leaders on campus."   Anne L.

Each residence hall has a Hall Council that serves as a voice for students of that community. Advised by the Assistant Resident Director, each Hall Council is made up of student leaders elected in the fall semester. With a portion of resident social fees, Hall Councils are responsible for providing fun and engaging activities for residents to enjoy, make improvements to the services and amenities offered, and host a large all-campus traditional event!

Hall Council is an amazing way to gain skills that will help develop you into a more ethical, positive, and caring leaders. Involvement can also assist you in developing important career competencies - perfect for rising above other applicants. Overall, getting involved with RHA and Hall Council is a great way to make a difference at Montana State University.

As one former long-time member said:

"RHA truly develops every participant to be a leader, no matter what their future goals may be. If it wasn't for RHA, I would have never found the courage to get out of my shell and meet new people. By attending my Hall Council's programming, I was able to meet new people, try new activities, and learn tangible skills. Whether it was making friends with my floormates during Pie-Your-RA, learning self-defense, or talking through my feelings with my RA, Hall Council and RHA got me through my first year of college. RHA helped push me to be the best person I could be."   Anne L., Class of 2019
