The Freshman Scholarship is for newly-admitted MSU students who are enrolling in University Studies. Multiple scholarships of up to $2000 each are offered every year. Scholarships are competitive, and selection is based on a combination of academic performance, leadership, and service while in high school. Applicants must have either:

  1. A cumulative high school grade point average of 3.5
  2. An ACT composite score of 26
  3. A total SAT score of 1200 on the Critical Reading and Math sections

Award funds are distributed over Fall and Spring semesters for one year.
