Steps to Ensure Equitable Access in the Proposed Federally-Assisted Program

                                                                                     

This project will ensure equitable access to its professional development program with respect to: gender, race, color, national origin, disability and age.

                                             

  1. This project will ensure that schools selected for Phases 2 and 3 of this project meet the minimum 50% low-income student requirement, and that schools will be selected without hindrance and with special encouragement for the inclusion of diverse groups based on gender, race, color, national origin, disability and age.

 

  1. This project will ensure that all eligible teachers and students within the primary and selected schools and subawardees and contractors will engage with project activities without hindrance based on gender, race, color, national origin, disability and age.

 

  1. If needed to assure all students active participation in the teacher-led curricular innovations, expertise from MSU in multicultural and English Learner or special needs education will be incorporated into school planning for this project.
