MSU's Cisco AnyConnect VPN (Virtual Private Network) allows users to to securely access content on the campus network from remote locations.

The AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client is required to connect to the VPN and is available for computers and mobile devices.   Use the link below to for instructions.

Webex is a video conferencing, online meeting and collaboration tool allowing to users to connect and share information in real time.

Services related to teaching and learning

An automated list of advisees is created for academic advisor at MSU on MSU's list server, Sympa.  The lists are updated nightly.

A class email list is created every semester for each section of every class offered. The email lists are located on MSU's email list server, Sympa.

The MSU Class Roll Service provides up-to-date class enrollment lists for instructors that can be viewed, printed and downloaded.  Additionally the service can be used to submit Student Early Alert Reports.    

Clickers, or Student response systems, allow faculty to collect real-time data from their students during lecture.

Read&Write Gold is software that provides accessibility and literacy tools via a toolbar installed on your computer. 

Smart classrooms are equipped with audio/visual technology and controlled by the Registrar. 

UIT operates 16 student computer labs at MSU in addition to offering public-access computers in Renne Library, Strand Union Building and the Hosaeus Fitness Center.
