The Seal QuAAtro is a continuous segmented flow analyzer, ideal for detection of low level (ppb) nitrite, nitrate, phosphate, and ammonium in aqueous samples.



The Seal consists of an autosampler, peristaltic pump, chemistry manifolds, flow cells, and detectors. Reagents and samples are pumped through the manifolds. Small reaction segments are created by introducing air bubbles at precisely timed intervals. These small segments ensure a complete reaction between the samples and reagents, while maximizing the sensitivity of the instrumentation. The reaction product flows through a flow cell and is detected using an LED light source with a high-resolution digital photometer. 


Required volume for a Seal analysis is <3 mL. When running, the Seal can measure 100 samples in ~2 hours, however instrument set-up for the Seal requires multiple days.
